My life has always been surrounded by art. I studied dance for 12 years and was involved in a professional dance group for 6 years. Following my dance career, I set out to travel internationally for 4 years. Towards the end of my journey, I stopped in Thailand and met a group of amazing crafts women. I connected with them immediately and each one helped me find my passion. I stayed in Northern Thailand for 6 more months, learning the art of hand tooled leather work. After returning to Israel, I completed my studies and honed my craft in a college of engineering and design. Following graduation, Keren Handmade was born.
I started by making expertly crafted hand made bags and purses, but soon progressed to accessories such as belts, wallets, and more… I love what I do and believe my passion is reflected in the quality and design of my "works of art". I continue to strive for the perfect combination of practicality, versatility, and style and am inspired every day. Each piece is one of a kind. Welcome to my shop. Enjoy!
